Host - Wayne Norfleet began his coaching career at the age of 23 after graduating from Austin Peay with a degree in Health & Physical Education. He also holds a Master's Degree in Health Education from Florida International University. Coach Norfleet coached at Florida International University, served as head coach at Cleveland State Community College, and Athletic Director and Head Coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College. During his coaching career, six of his teams won conference championships. Many of Coach Norfleet’s teams were ranked in the top ten nationally in hitting with two of those teams leading the nation in hitting. Sixteen of his former players played professional baseball and his son Matt pitched in the Detroit Tigers' organization. Many of his former players are currently employed as coaches themselves. Over the course of his career, Coach Norfleet developed a reputation as an outstanding teacher of the fundamentals of the game with a special emphasis on hitting. Coach Norfleet is currently the owner of Norfleet Sports Photography, and operates Line Drive University Baseball Camps in addition to private baseball instruction.
